[April 3, 2025] KD Navien’s “Navien Smart Home Wall Pad (SNP920-5BW)” won the Winner award in the Product category at Germany’s “iF Design Award 2025 (International Forum Design Awards 2025).”

The iF Design Award is one of the world’s top three design competitions, evaluating design excellence across nine categories, including ▲ Product and ▲ User Interface (UI). Last year, KD Navien was also named a Winner in the UI category for its interface design of the Smart Home Wall Pad, highlighting its commitment to innovative design

KD Navien’s “Navien Smart Home Wall Pad” serves as a hub of the smart home, offering integrated control over various devices, including the front door access, boiler, appliances, lighting, and security systems. It also analyzes daily weather and appliance usage patterns to automatically operate appropriate devices according to the situation. For example, on days with high fine dust levels, a notification to “activate the ventilation air purifier” appears, and it turns on when the user taps the alert.

As this year’s award-winning product, the “Navien Smart Home Wall Pad” is designed under the concept of “The Gallery,” offering an experience reminiscent of artwork displayed in a gallery. KD Navien placed particular emphasis on enhancing aesthetic value, noting that wall pads are used less frequently than other home appliances despite their growing utility. Even when the screen is off, it displays beautiful images, functioning as a premium digital frame elevates the ambiance of the space.

One of its standout features is the expansive 24-inch display, significantly improving user convenience. While most wall pads feature relatively small screens of 10 to 13 inches,often cluttered with information,KD Navien’s larger screen delivers content and functions more intuitively. The minimal thickness and refined edge design further contribute to a sleek and sophisticated appearance, making the device look even slimmer than its actual dimensions.
