[June 5, 2025] KD Navien—‘Optimize Living & Environment’—announced the spin-off of its subscription business division to establish a new subsidiary, KD C&S.

The C&S in KD C&S stands for Care and Solution, reflecting the company’s commitment to expanding “subscription” offerings across a wide range of products and delivering tailored, professional services in response to the growing consumer demand for subscription-based models.

KD C&S will be dedicated exclusively to the specialized and systematic management of Navien’s subscription products. KD Navien launched its Rental Care Service for Ventilation Air Purifiers in October 2023, and in April 2025 launched subscription services for the “3D Air Hood” as well as the combined “Ventilation Air Purifier Magic Plus” package. Looking ahead, the company also plans to extend subscriptions to its flagship products such as boilers and Navien Mat, as well as to upcoming innovations like the “Dehumidifying Ventilation Air Purifier”—strengthening its commitment to deliver more structured and specialized services through KD C&S as its dedicated subscription arm.

A team of professional specialists, known as “Navien Partners,” will be responsible for introducing and managing Navien’s subscription services. These Navien Partners will ensure customers experience the highest product performance by handling tasks such as filter replacement, exterior cleaning, and regular performance inspections. In addition, as the market trend accelerates from simple “rentals” to personalized “subscriptions,” Navien Partners will also play a key role in recommending the most suitable product packages tailored to individual customer needs.

The first CEO of KD C&S has been appointed as Yong-bum Kim, Chief Sales and Marketing Executive (EVP) at KD Navien. “Through KD C&S, our specialized subscription subsidiary, we will deliver new solutions that optimize living and environment, from heating and cooling, indoor temperature and humidity, and air quality to sleep systems and even kitchen solutions,” stated CEO Kim.
