What is m-CHP?

As a future-oriented energy utilizing device producing both heat and electricity, a micro-CHP system (Micro-combined Heat and Power, m-CHP) is a high-efficiency system that can provide not only heating and hot water, but also electricity at home by using natural gas as a fuel. The m-CHP generates electricity by micro-distributed generation and can improve energy efficiency by reusing heat generated for heating or hot water. Types of m-CHP include fuel cells (PEMFC, SOFC), sterling engines (external combustion engine), and gas engines (internal engine).
